Small Demo Reel

My demo reel thus far. Action Pirate Jeb has yet to make his full debut, once I finish him. The music is my uncle's. I suppose this will be my last update for a while then, hope I entertained you :)

This is but a taste of Action Pirate Jeb! I'd like to work on it and actually finish it over the Christmas Break, so maybe once I return you'll be able to view the entire animation - all cleaned up and coloured and whatnot... Hopefully! That's what I'd want to do :)

Cafe Scribbling

The Christmas rush is just getting in! A little kid came up to me and wanted me to draw him. He sat so still but had the hugest, funniest smile on his face. It was cute. I gave him that drawing for Christmas. It's almost time!! I'm so excited that I think I might make myself even more sick than I already am proned to!

There's a sheep in my kitchen! Sorry for the lack of posting recently. REALLY! I TRULY AM SORRY! But look! I made you something fun! A sheep! I wish I had a sheep in my kitchen.

And then there's Jeb. He's doing stuff for an action analysis I'm doing in animation class. Good ol' Jeb. It's true that when you name things you get attached to them. Why Jeb! Why do you have to die! You got too greedy!

One last animal hurrah at the Toronto Zoo before school started, and some 1st day back cafe drawings. I wonder what this year will bring. It doesn sound like it will be the bestest year of my life (but I can sure try!), I guess I'll find out... ¬_¬

A few weeks ago Gimli, my little dwarf hamster, died in his sleep. You were a good hamster Gimli! Way to bounce back every time you fell off the table, and for Lays chips being your favorite food, and for freaking out every time someone woke you up, and for giving Hamlet the evil eye every time he ran you over. Good times with my hammy.

Charicature night

A few months ago, a friend of mine lent us Battlestar Gallactica. CRAZY GOOD SHOW. And feeling a little sketchy, I pulled out my book and did some charicatures of the President and that crazy Asian girl, lol. Later we watched the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. And that last light one in pen was my storyboarding teacher. Wee.

Good times and Bad Times

So, like any good daughter would do, I went home for Mother's Day and bought her some pretty little roses for her garden. Later that day it was the Ukrainian Folk Arts Festival down at the Ukee Hall, so we all went there for Mom's Day too (my brother and sister were both dancing in it). It was just a little ukrainian show of many dance performances with little kids from 7-18. Woo. There was also a ukrainian family band named the Raging Hutzles; and let me tell you they were raging all right. When they played, someone backstage kept flicking the lights in the hall on and off. Lol. All of it was pretty lame, but lots of lame fun too. I miss dancing, when I was there we did some pretty awesome shows in Toronto.

So then I had to go home and work the next day with the Asian Rainman. God I hate those pants...

Has this ever happened to you at the zoo? Fat peacock makes a comeback, and a tiger gets into come chicken soup. A character posing assignment I finally colored.
