Colour

I always envisioned Jeb as having a blue coat and red pants. But I've become quite fond of the red one in the middle, or number four. I dunno, more colour tests may be needed.

Concept

Well, it's been back to school for 2 months already. Some concept art from my film - the two main characters, Jeb and Bert. The blurry picture quality makes me laugh.

Almost done

I really do like animating in Flash (the Johnny Test way anyway), really! My eyes just tend to burn if I look at the screen too long, and then I start to look like this, don't you?

Rival Faces

Just exploring Jeb and his main rival Bert. I really have no idea what I want Bert to look like. Something easy to animate obviously, but in contrast of design to Jeb. Playing is fun. Holy cow I need a camera :P Thanks for the offer though Yuriy :P

Hey Look!

Apparently I lied about the last post. But the picture is still crappy. Look! It's me! Hah. The only camera I have is in my laptop.
This summer I'm going to work on my film. It's about a pirate lost in the mid West. Jeb returns in his very own film! But these are warm up sketches since I haven't drawn in a while :P

Hey anyone who stumbles across my blog. This summer has not equipped me with a scanner so I can't put up any of my stuff. I'm in not-so-sunny-at-the-moment Halifax doin' up my internship. Wee! I hope I don't need glasses by the end of the summer (flash all day). You may or may not get an updated photo here and there, but if not I hope good days for the summer! Ta until September :)

Holy done, Batman!

Well, there's 8 whole months in only 2 minutes. But I think it was worth it. Since I hear that you can't advertise your film if you want it in festivals, here's a teaser poster. Eventually one day I'll post the movie for all to see on the great-wide internet. I did the line art for the poster, while Rob Krete painted it since I can't paint well. All the background kids are us who worked on the film. There's me!

Sorry for those of you who've been checking in without an update here - my film took up all of my time. But now I have nothing to do and I kind of feel...like I need to do work...

Is that a bad thing? ;) Maybe I'll actually sketch for myself.

I wonder how this summer will go for my blog. I may or may not be scannerless out in Halifax. We'll see :)

T-shirt

T-shirt designs at school. This was mine, I wonder if it'll actually become a t-shirt? Someone added Sheridun x40 below it. I would have spelt the name correctly, but I like the x40. Forty years!

The other designs were real sweet too. But, just because zombie holds a special place in my sketchbook - Go zombie, go!

Work

Don't get me wrong, I like my job (at the college bookstore), but 8 hours of staring across at a clothing rack kind of gets to you. Especially when you're the only one that can hear it talking...

I have an idea for my final film now. It's about a pirate who follows a treasure map into the Wild West, and into a town. The cowboys pick on him for being a pirate.
